The Principal Dynamic @PrincipalDynami Continuous Improvement Cycle/Model Dynamic Principals must understand that the change they seek must be strategic and well tracked. A cycle of improvement must move from recognition of gap to the action plan to address the gap. A clearly articulated plan must be reviewed and tweaked as data is reviewed. I am so proud of the efforts of principals in using DataWise to support their continuous improvement. Kudos to Dunbar ES for a great review of their assessment and instructional strategy inventories! This protocol has literally changed my view as to how I look at data. It’s more than looking at numbers how they are placed on a graph, it’s about asking questions and making statements of inference that cause you to put effective plans in place that will increase student achievement. I went through this protocol practice being demonstrated by Dr. Massey, one of the most memorable round table discussions as it concerns student growth and achievement. When discussion provide meaning, insight, and solutions we enter a culture of being solution oriented.
